The Skill and Skill Profile functionality on Sutton Trust Online have been removed while we make some changes to the competency framework that underpins STO. We will be in touch with students in early 2026 once the changes are complete. This is an exciting time for STO as we develop the platform to support you even further in your higher education readiness journey.
Can I access the skill progress I had tracked on the platform?
You can't access this yourself, but if you'd like us to send you the records of your skill ratings we are able to do this. Please get in touch using the same email you have on STO, and let us know which skills you had been working on.
Am I able to continue accessing the skills learning content that was on the platform?
Yes - the learning content on the platform will still be available via the search bar and Browse function until January 2026. After that point it will be removed from STO as our license with Skills Builder ends. However, you can still access all of the same content via Skills Builder's website.
